DATA: THE2NDHAND's quarterly broadsheet (circulation 2500) offers single-ad sponsorships at $350 per issue, which include an approximately 6-by-2-inch banner in the broadsheet (check recent-issues -- offered in pdf at the2ndhand.com -- for examples: thanks Columbia College, Comix Revolution, The Left Hand et al) as well as rotation for six months in our online magazine (see site banners for current examples). THE2NDHAND.com averages more than 3000 unique readers a month, many of them returning numerous times. We publish at least one new feature a week, if not two. Our advertisers/sponsors don't put money in our pockets, but cover our minimal printing and distribution costs.

READERSHIP: our audience is once very specific -- literate folks on the younger side of adulthood or the older side of adolescence -- as well as totally scattershot, due to our distribution method: THE2NDHAND's free in select venues in Chicago, IL, and Birmingham, AL, plus a bookstore or single venue in a host of other towns: see our About/Subscribe page for details.

THE ONLINE MAGAZINE: for online book retailers or other online journals, among others, THE2NDHAND offers banner ads for $50 to run in rotation with a few other ads for a full six-month period at the top of our main-page features (with at least one feature a month if not more: we update weekly) or $30 for three months -- the features, in turn, will be archived with the ads intact, so your ad is guaranteed to survive beyond the limits of the intial contract.
