A NOTE TO PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH CONCERNING TV VIEWING CHOICES ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE: "24"
In addition to preferring CNN, we were wondering if we might watch "24" during especially tedious trips, like the one we took to the trade summit in Uzbekistan. You've said all the shouting, gunfire and explosions on "24" wake you up, but we promise to keep the volume low. Plus, it's on Fox, so we figured it would be OK. Just the other day, we asked your press secretary if we could watch, and she got all weird and said she could neither confirm nor deny Jack Bauer's position with the CIA. We explained that Jack was a FICTIONAL agent, but she just winked and changed the channel to TV Land. (She even declined to comment on which Darrin you prefer. "My staff is working to get that information," she said. That was a year ago. We STILL don't know the answer!) Sincerely,
P.S.: Anderson Cooper wants his Mad Libs back. P.P.S.: Requiring security clearance for access to salted peanuts was a cute gag. You really had us going. P.P.P.S.: It's the first Darrin, right?
